The K-type thermocouple sensor with threaded connection is a kind of sensor for measuring temperature. The K-type thermocouple sensor is composed of two different types of metals that are joined together at one end. When the junction of the two metals is heated or cooled, a voltage related to the temperature will be generated. The thermocouple alloy is usually available in the form of wires.

Its applications include the temperature measurement in kilns, exhausts of gas turbines, diesel engines, and other industrial processes. The K-type thermocouple sensor is also used in households, offices, and enterprises as a temperature sensor in thermostats, and it serves as a flame sensor in the safety devices of gas-powered major appliances.
