Heating Equipment
pt100 bearing temperature sensor uses platinum resistance temperature sensor as the sensing element. PT100 is a commonly used temperature sensor whose resistance changes with temperature and has good linear characteristics and stability. Its working process is as follows.
Basic principle: The PT100 sensor uses the resistance of platinum metal to change with temperature to measure temperature. The resistance of platinum increases with temperature. This change is non-linear and complies with international standards.
Temperature-resistance relationship: The operation of the PT100 sensor is based on the relationship between its temperature and resistance. According to Ohm's law, when the current flows through the PT100 sensor, the resistance value changes with the change of temperature.
Measuring circuit: The PT100 sensor is usually connected to a measuring circuit. The measuring circuit applies a constant current through the PT100 sensor. The measuring circuit detects the change in resistance of the sensor by measuring the voltage.
Resistance-temperature conversion: The measurement circuit converts the resistance value of the PT100 sensor into the corresponding temperature value. A lookup table, linear interpolation or mathematical formula is usually used to achieve the conversion of resistance to temperature.
Output signal: The converted temperature value is used as the output signal of the sensor, usually in the form of an analog voltage signal or a digital signal for use by a control system or display.
